Sorry I couldn't join you but many of the thoughts I have had were expressed (two notable ones are the potential prospects for Pentecostalism in postmodernity; and the similarities between Pentecostal and Catholic spirituality).</p> <p>One thing I would like to add is the element of eschatological urgency. There is a powerful dynamic in Pentecostalism (though not unique to it) in this idea that time is running out, and each day is an opportunity to share Christ. Each youth service is an opportunity for a young person to be redeemed. And on the one hand, while I don't live each day saying, 'Jesus might come back tonight and so-and-so still isn't saved,' there is nonetheless a very real urgency to Pentecostal youth ministry.</p> <p>Again, I enjoyed the show, and laughed at Josh R.'s 'vitriolic' language.</p> I enjoyed the show, peeps.
